As a Scrum Master at Caliber, you will support our product development teams with an organized approach to fill in the gaps in Agile/Scrum frameworks. You will assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the teams to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. We prefer a candidate who ensures that teams deliver high-quality software products with speed, transparency, and collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as a coach for one or more Scrum teams. 
  • Have good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment. 
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospective). 
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and ensuring clarity of requirements. 
  • Remove obstacles and foster an environment of continuous improvement. 
  • Foster an environment of trust, collaboration, and self-organization. 
  • Ensure teams maintain focus on sprint goals. 
  • Drive Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles while adapting to the team’s maturity level. 
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve Agile adoption across the organization. 
  • Promote transparency through effective use of metrics, dashboards, and reporting (velocity, burndown, lead time, etc.). 
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams. 
  • Identify and address organizational challenges that impact team performance. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • 5+ years of experience in software product development with at least 2+ years as a Scrum Master. 
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). 
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, etc.). 
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. 
  • Proven ability to support cross-functional, distributed teams. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation practices is an added advantage. 
  • Certifications preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent.
