About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead our quality assurance and testing function for software product development. The role involves defining testing strategies, building high-performing QA teams, and ensuring product releases meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Define and implement test strategy, processes, and best practices for product development. 
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, automation testers, and performance testers. 
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. 
• Drive test automation strategy, tools selection, and CI/CD integration to improve efficiency. 
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and Architects to align testing with business and technical requirements. 
• Establish and monitor quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, release readiness, etc.). 
• Ensure timely planning, execution, and reporting of test activities within Agile sprints and releases. 
• Promote a culture of quality ownership across development and product teams. 
• Manage test environments, data, and tools to support efficient execution. 
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and practices to continuously improve testing. 
• Participate in release readiness assessments and production deployment validations. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in a Test Lead / Test Manager role. 
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Agile testing practices, and SDLC. 
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG). 
• Familiarity with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing practices. 
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally. 
• Excellent leadership, people management, and mentoring skills. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. 
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. 
• Relevant certifications preferred (ISTQB Test Manager, Agile Testing, SAFe Agile, etc.).
